Welcome to the Roswell Historical Society, Inc.
The Roswell Historical Society, our city's oldest historic preservation organization, was established in 1971. Since then, the Society has amassed considerable holdings of historically significant materials and artifacts. From the beginning, the Society has worked diligently to identify and preserve community landmarks.
The mission of the Roswell Historical Society is to collect, preserve, share, and promote the history of the city of Roswell and environs. We are an affiliate Chapter of the Georgia Historical Society.

The Roswell Historical Society presents a vintage clothing exhibition entitled "Dressed for Drama" during the months of May and June 2015, at Bulloch Hall. Pieces on display are drawn from the extensive collections of vintage clothing housed in the Roswell Historical Society/City of Roswell Research Library and Archives. Period literature, films, and television, including the wildly popular PBS series "Downton Abbey, provide the inspiration for this exhibit.
“Dressed for Drama” can be seen at Bulloch Hall during regular scheduled tours: Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and Sundays 1-3 p.m.
