Wreaths Across America Ceremony

About The Event
The Roswell Historical Society is honored to be a part of this annual remembrance.
What began in 1992 with a trailer load of wreaths, decorated by volunteers and laid at the graves of fallen soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery has now become a national organization with over 1100 participating locations - all focused on the mission to Remember - Honor - and Teach. Since 2015, the Roswell Historical Society's Cemetery Committee has raised funds to purchase wreaths to be placed on 240 veterans' graves in four cemeteries: Lebanon Baptist, Pleasant Hill, Mount Oliver, and Old Roswell Cemetery. Roswell volunteers join with thousands of other Wreaths Across America volunteers who simultaneously place wreaths on veterans' graves in communities across the U.S. Our heartfelt thanks to all of you who sponsored wreaths to make this event possible again this year.
