About The Event
The Roswell Historical Society is excited to announce the formation of our new book club!
If you love history and enjoy lively discussions, we invite you to join us!
Our inaugural meeting will be held on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at 4 PM at the Roswell History Museum (2nd floor of the Cultural Arts Center Building).
We will be discussing Mornings on Horseback by David McCullough. Exploring “the story of an extraordinary family, a vanished way of life and the unique child who became Theodore Roosevelt” may prove to be especially impactful as the city prepares to celebrate the 120th anniversary of Theodore Roosevelt’s visit to Roswell (made in October 1905).
