About The Event
Jeff Dufresne is a mushroom farmer & educator of the hidden world beneath our feet. He owns PAX DOMUS FARM in Milton, Georgia where he harvests Shiitake, Lion’s Mane, Oyster and other medicinal mushrooms. In his talk, Jeff will enlighten us about the unique history and benefits of mushrooms since to dawn of mankind which are only coming to light today.
Jeff grew up on a diary farm in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, educated at Columbia University and moved to Atlanta in 1985 to pursue a career in real estate development. After retiring from the private sector, he served as an Executive Director of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and is a Founding Member and President Emeritus of the Milton Historical Society.
