I have been doing active genealogy work since my father got me involved with his Gooch Family Newsletter in the early 1990s. While my direct ancestor roots are not in Roswell, I have come to appreciate the unique history here. I also find this convenient to areas where my ancestors lived, including Union County (Gaddistown, Suches, etc), Oconee/Clarke/Jackson counties areas (Winterville, etc.). My family extends to Hahira, Georgia, and Orange County, North Carolina, so I feel I'm in a good place.
